  • Works with staff, i.e. teachers, teacher's assistants, social workers and administration in a manner which is beneficial to the students.
  • Supervises students in the crisis room and utilizes staff for support in interventions when necessary.
  • Prevents a crisis from occurring by interceding upon request and removes a student from a situation when applicable.
  • Prepares students for a positive classroom re-entry.
  • Develops a positive working relationship with the students.
  • Functions as a member of the crisis team in performing tasks relevant to setting, implementing, achieving and evaluating behavior management plans; maintains and submits progress notes and other reports; meets and consults with members of the crisis team.
  • Other duties as determined by the building administrator.
  • Supports the Sodus Central School District Strategic Plan.
$18.50/hr. plus full benefits

This position exists in our Intermediate School, teaching students with special needs.

School Monitor (Recess & Cafeteria)SM2025-26 - 1

Monitor students while they are in either the recess area or cafeteria area during lunch or recess periods.

$15.50/hr
