Job Description

This position will cover teacher absences as they occur.  This is a daily substitute position, which requires no certification, however, certified teachers are preferred.  If you are uncertified, you are allowed to work up to 40 days in a school year.

1.   Complete the sub service application/profile sheet (attached)

2.    Complete the Affirmation of Eligibility for Employment form (attached).

3.   Contact a building principal or assistant principal of your choice to schedule an interview.  The principals and assistant principal are as follows:

Note: NYS Education Department requires any person employed in a public school district to be fingerprinted specifically for the New York State Education Department.  This is required before you begin work.  The fee that is charged is $101.25.  You can set up an appointment to be fingerprinted at http://www.identogo.com .   Once at their site you will be asked to enter a service code, which is "14ZGR7".
